About
Welcome to Nathan and Jannine’s blog. It’s a place for us to share a little bit about what’s happening in our lives and the things that amuse us. Expect a special focus on our wedding planning, at least for the next few months.
About Us
Nathan, 27, is a corporate finance attorney at a large New York law firm, a position that he has held since late 2006. Despite his brief exposure to law, he is already rather disinterested by it. In his spare time, he — oh wait. He doesn’t have spare time. He works and sleeps. However, back when he had spare time, he enjoyed watching sports, listening to music and playing his guitar. Nathan is originally from Michigan, which explains why he loves Detroit sports teams so much.
Jannine, 28, is an early-childhood music teacher who works in several programs around the City. She is a classically trained pianist who decided to move into the education arena after her experience at Teacher’s College. She is originally from California.
About our Friends
Here’s a little information on the people who may appear frequently in our blog entries:
Jeremy is a patent litigation attorney working in New York City. Unfortunately, he seems to have left his heart in San Francisco, so he will soon be abandoning NYC for the left coast. He is married to Erica. Jeremy is a talented chef and a general foodie.
Erica is a physical therapy student in NYC. Because her husband, Jeremy, is moving back to San Francisco, she will be leaving us soon as well. In addition to her many other skills, Erica can make virtually any dessert on command. She and Jeremy area formidable culinary team.
Kathy was once one of our best New York buds. Along with Susan, the JNKS quartet consumed endless amounts of food of every description around NYC. However, life called her back to Southern California, where she is currently a trainer for Kaiser.
Susan, affectionately know as SUUUZZZZZ!!!, is another former New Yorker who abandoned us for California, using the excuse that she just had to go study architecture at UCLA. While we personally don’t believe in self-improvement through education, apparently she does, so we’re supposed to cut her some slack here.
